Our Mission:

Bruins Fighting Pediatric Cancer (BFPC) was founded in 2009 with the vision to unite UCLA undergraduates under the goal of “Never letting cancer cloud the joy of being a kid.” Our main focus is to find a cure for every child with cancer. We pursue our mission in a variety of ways: raising awareness and educating those who are not familiar with pediatric cancer, volunteering at pediatric oncology clinics, camps, and events, and fundraising to support pediatric cancer research. As of 2025, we have raised over $70,000 for pediatric cancer research!

The Why:

Only 4%

According to the National Cancer Institute, only 4% of all government-allocated cancer research funds go towards pediatric cancer research.
