Cranes for Cancer

Together, we can make a difference in a kid's life.

Cranes for Cancer is BFPC’s signature annual event that occurs every winter quarter! All are welcome at Cranes for Cancer! Here we honor our pediatric cancer heroes and their families. We also have guest speakers from Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation as well as key researchers in pediatric cancer research! Cranes for Cancer gets it’s name from the Japanese tradition where folding 1,000 paper origami cranes grants the recipient with a wish of good luck. So, the main focus of Cranes is to join together with all our guests and heroes to fold 1,000 origami cranes which will be presented to the cancer heroes in shadow boxes for them to keep. It is a truly magical event that embodies all that BFPC is: community, friendship, and service.
